El Al Israel Airlines looked to reimagine their responsive experience to capture the attention of travelers wanting to get the best of their time in Israel. In conjunction with Travelaer, we were able to visualize and  build a site with an emphasis on value bookings and exploration in travel.

Dynamic Packages UI Exploration

One of the initial concepts that needed to be addressed was a complete reconstruction of the home screen. This was done to invite more people to take note of the value deals and email capture, as well as actionable information regarding past searches.

Responsive in Mind

The site was always envisioned as a fully responsive representation of the whole El Al Israel Airlines experience. Whether that be on a phone, tablet, or simply your favorite notebook.

Add-Ons Done Right

Each step of the booking process is a opportunity to present the user with suggestions on additional services and value-based amenities that they can add to their trip.

Your Travel Companion

In addition to a truly responsive site, there was also an emphasis on creating a native companion application for iOS (with Android to follow) that would highlight your travel itinerary as well as upgrades and add-ons.

While this initiative is still ongoing, there’s been plenty of UX and design exploration to find the right balance between what’s already offered on the web and a more tailored and customizable experience natively.

NATIVE APPLICATIONS

Conclusion

With the combination of a fully responsive site and a native companion app that personalizes your travel experience for you, there was a wealth of UX and visual assets to draw from for this project. While this is still undergoing iterations and development, it goes to show that products are never truly done.
